Here’s to one of the greatest musical mothers ever! Clara Wieck Schumann would have been 200 years old this year. This working mother of 8 children was one of the most famous pianists of her generation with a 60+ year performing career, a composer, editor and champion of her husband Robert’s collected works, and a celebrated teacher.
