Making a Planned Gift

Including the Stamford Symphony in your estate plan allows you to contribute to our success while achieving your philanthropic financial goals.

We invite you to consider the following gift options to the Stamford Symphony as part of your estate plan:

  • Bequests under will or living trust
  • Beneficiary Designations under Retirement Plan Assets
  • Life Insurance

Potential benefits of planned giving to the Stamford Symphony include the following:

  • Receive a current income tax charitable deduction
  • Reduce estate and gift taxes
  • Avoid long term capital gain

By including the Stamford Symphony in your estate plan, you will become a member of the Encore Legacy Society, joining others who have made such important provisions.

Including the Stamford Symphony in Your Will

Volunteer

The Stamford Symphony is fortunate to count among the members of its team a dedicated group of people who assist at our concerts and in our administrative office. Our volunteers, who staff our gift shop, the Founder’s Room, and our concierge desk, are essential to the success of our organization. Office volunteers assist with technology, marketing, education, and development initiatives.

Ways to Volunteer

Because people have different interests, the Symphony staff will work with you one-on-one to find a volunteer assignment that you will find fun and challenging. We have several volunteer opportunities available at our administrative office during the work week, but some volunteers prefer to undertake special projects at home in their spare time. Many volunteers help out at our weekend concerts at the Palace Theatre.
